Description

This historic railroad tunnel was constructed in 1887 by 35 workers, and located at an elevation of 5,454 feet above sea level. A length of 6,112 feet it maintains an inside temperature of approx. 20 degrees cooler then outside temps. The tunnel is 21 feet to the arch and 15 feet 8 inches in width.
